I can recall the days of my tender years in grammar school when I was extremely timid and afraid to speak when called upon in class. I feared the teacher calling my name, which was already difficult for many to pronounce, and I intentionally avoided eye contact with her. With my heart pounding and sweaty hands, I sunk into my seat. When I heard another name called, I quietly exhaled with deep gratitude that I was not called upon but fearful that it might be me the next time. I did not know then that I was experiencing something very common to humanity – Glossophobia.

Fear and doubt are barriers, strongholds that have hindered many who are called, anointed, and appointed to use their VOICE to release the Word of the Lord, but now IT'S TIME TO GET EQUIPPED AND WALK IN FREEDOM!

To "Get Equipped" means to provide one with what one needs for a specific purpose. ETD gives students a solid understanding of the relationship between public ministry and public speaking from a sound, biblical perspective. ETD also addresses common communication problems people in ministry experience as public speakers and provides strategic and rewarding solutions to excel as equipped presenters.

Naimah’s training on "Mastering Your Presentation Skills," was filled with a whole lot of KNOWLEDGE! She asked us questions that had my wheels turning inside. They were questions that I would never think of asking myself before preparing for a paper, speech, or presentation. I’ve always just chosen a topic and researched only based on what I needed. Naimah broke each step down and helped us understand what to look for and the different types of information we need before ever speaking, teaching, or writing papers for school.
